Tribute Eatery & Bar is a vibrant full-service restaurant and bar in Coralville, Iowa, serving crave-worthy comfort food, craft cocktails, curated wines, and local beers. Known for our energetic atmosphere and welcoming team, we have quickly become a local favorite.

We are looking for Hosts and Food Runners who are enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to help create unforgettable guest experiences. Whether you are seeking a seasonal role or a long-term position, Tribute is the place to thrive.

Pay: $8.10 per hour plus tips, tipped out nightly

Schedule:

  • Weekday lunch availability preferred, typically between 11am and 3pm
  • Full or part-time shifts, 4 to 8 hours depending on your availability
    Availability for evenings, weekends, and major holidays is required. Holiday shifts are often the busiest and provide strong tip-earning potential

Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, providing menus and a positive first impression
  • Manage waitlists, communicate accurate wait times, and optimize seating to maintain smooth restaurant flow
  • Deliver food promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation meets high standards
  • Communicate effectively with service, kitchen, and management teams to maintain efficient operations
  • Assist with reservations, phone inquiries, to-go orders, and guest needs
  • Reset tables quickly and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area, including restrooms
  • Support team members in all tasks necessary to maintain efficient operations
  • Assist with opening duties and other tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Availability nights, weekends, and holidays
