Tribute Eatery & Bar in Coralville, IA is looking for experienced Prep Cooks to join our team!

Tribute Eatery & Bar is a full-service restaurant and bar known for comfort-focused food, craft cocktails, curated wines, and local beers. We operate in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a strong focus on consistency, quality, and guest experience.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Prep Cook to support our kitchen team and help ensure smooth and efficient service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes kitchen work and wants to grow within a supportive restaurant group.

Compensation ranges from $15-$22/hour based on experience.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week. Weekend availability required, including Sundays. Weekday shifts (Monday–Thursday) scheduled as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and portion ingredients for daily service
• Follow prep lists, recipes, and food safety standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary prep and storage areas
• Label, date, and rotate product to ensure freshness and quality
• Assist with inventory and stock management
• Support line cooks and kitchen leadership as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
